Below are some quotes from MACC audience members:

'I do not often write to organisers of events I attend but I feel I must in this case to let you know how much I enjoyed yesterday’s Youth Choirs Competition at the RNCM. Intending initially to take in just part, I stayed for the entire day and was absolutely stunned by the performances. In a day and age when it is all too easy to take the easy route and allow youngsters to spend their days and nights on smartphones and tablets engaging in virtual worlds, the endeavour, dedication and commitment of each and every young person who took part yesterday was an example to all. My congratulations to all concerned for organising a day that was a privilege to be part of, albeit as a spectator.'

'A very uplifting day'

'This is a great event and proud to have it in Manchester'

'Great to see so many people making music and having fun'

'A very exciting and valuable day from which I have learnt much'

'A great event - needs to be developed and grown'

'The team of stewards were outstanding'

'Great opportunity to listen to a wide cross-section of talent'

'Some very moving renditions of some favourite songs'
